Note: Homeowner’s Associations regulate By-laws signed by homeowners. Please contact your Homeowner’s Association for any violations and clarification of your By-laws.

Leaves and Branches:

should be properly disposed of and not placed in Township’s storm drains and detention basins.  Leaves should never be placed or blown into street.

Junk Cars:

should be removed and not stored in driveways or public/private streets.

Abandoned Vehicles:

Please view Chp.10, Part 4, Section 402 of the code of ordinances.

Campers & Boats:

should be stored on owner’s property by the occupant of the premises only behind the front line of the house (check your HOA By-laws) (link JMZO Article XIII, Section 803.H.7.4

Sidewalks:

should be inspected for hazards and maintained free of snow and ice for pedestrian safety. Sidewalks must be cleared of ice & snow within 24 hours of the time snow stops falling or ice forms on a pavement.

Basketball Nets:

assemblies in the Public Roadway and or Right of Way is a violation of Township Ordinances and must be removed.

Unkept Lawns:

Uncontrolled lawns are in violation of the Township Ordinance.
If this is the open space maintained by your Homeowner’s Association, please call them directly to correct this violation. Residential and Commercial owners of property are responsible to maintain their property at all times. Please see Ch. 10 Pt. 1 Vegetation

Signs:

must not be placed around the Township without an approved permit. You can fill out the permit online here.
